Day 1 has passed... all of the linoleum and sub-floor have been removed and replaced with HardiBacker. Tomorrow, the contractor (and his wife) will hammer down any protruding nail-heads and begin tiling. As you can see, I forgot to take my pots & pans down. Doesn't really matter at the moment, since my stove is in the living room and I can't go into the kitchen until Thursday. Our house really looks like a dump right now... if anyone were to look in the front window, they'd probably think we were hoarders LOL.
