I'm Back

So much going on lately...

We signed papers this week for our loan to remodel the kitchen. The Contractor Dude is supposed to be calling soon to make an appointment to do the final measurements and pick up the materials list.

Keelan got really sick last weekend. He was so lethargic, he just lay on the floor all afternoon on Monday (so wrong for an almost 2 year old boy). I took him to the doctor, but he checked out okay as far as not having anything dangerous, just a viral infection. He's better, but he's still a snot faucet and sound like he has emphysema when he coughs.

My in laws took Coralie fishing today. Surprisingly, she had an excellent time. Although, it was fishing from the shore of a stocked trout pond, not from a boat. Still, they said she had fun.

We saw 'Spider-Man 3'. I give it mostly thumbs up... The Husband and I agreed that it seemed too long, and it took way too long to get to the really cool stuff (Venom). They've fluffed it up with a lot of story (for the chicks and non-comic book readers LOL). The two best reasons to see it (besides Venom): 1. James Franco (mmm...) 2. Peter Parker's swinging dance moves.
A close runner up would be seeing Thomas Haden Church as a giant muscle-head. :-)

Unfortunately, on the way home from 'Spider-Man 3', my husband made me listen to the soundtrack from the 'Aquateen Hunger Force' movie... I'm fairly certain my brain shrunk 25% on the drive home... I felt like I should go watch something educational to try to make up for it.
