Good and Bad

Good: The Husband volunteering for Wiggles Duty. (Taking Coralie to see the show)

Good: Getting money back from the federal government.

Bad: Dell customer service. I received a defective Palm. Customer service said they'd send a replacement right away, and I should receive it in 5-7 days. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. 3 days ago, I sent them an email about it and have so far received no response. :-/

Bad: Road rage. Note to jackass on the freeway: that flashing yellow thingy on the back of my car? That's called a TURN SIGNAL. It means my lane is ENDING and I need to MERGE. So if you're going to speed up just enough to try not to let me in, but
not pass me totally, then I might have to speed up and cut in front of you. It's nothing personal buddy. Honking and tailgating at freeway speed and then trying to run me off the road on the exit (in your shitty Astro van), well, probably not the best solution.

Good: 1 more pound to go to goal of 150.

Good: Drooling shamelessly on my Title 9 catalog.

Bad: Coralie shoving her brother down the slide, then pinching me hard enough to bruise and trying to bite me as she was (unceremoniously) removed to time-out.

Baaaad: Keelan diligently preparing for his first emergency room visit by trying to *walk off* the very top of the play structure at the park. *After* he'd already fallen off the stairs, because instead of turning to go down the last step, he walked off the end. Do boys not have any depth perception?! Fortunately, I had enough adrenaline-driven speed to get to him in time, before he fell. However, his foot was off and he was going down. Not to mention intentional headers off of the ottoman, and today falling head first off of the foot rest of the recliner into the magazine basket. Good Lord, I'm going to die of a heart attack before that boy hits grade school.

Good: Ghost Rider graphic novel! I embrace my inner nerd. :-)

Neil- thanks! I appreciate that very much...I called, and they say it's on it's way now. Evidently the previous tech forgot to assign a dispatch number, so the order never went anywhere.

Bella- well, if I can shake off this last pound it will be 30. Yay!
