The handbag I currently lug around is one I bought for $30 (currently the most I've ever spent on a bag LOL) at Fred Meyer's, and I absolutely *hate* it. It looks ok, but I need to carry it on my shoulder most of the time and it just won't stay there. It's a fairly large bag, and it constantly slides down to my elbow, sometimes smacking an unsuspecting child in the head.
So, I'm in the market for a new one. I'm thinking that for the first time ever, I might plunk down a little more $ for a *really* nice one. I couldn't find anything at Coach that I loved enough to pay $300 or more for (I'm too cheap by nature, so there is probably *no* purse I'd pay that much for, period), and I went through 15 pages of hideous bags at Overstock.com to no avail. I finally found one at Fossil for $68. Even though $68 is not too bad, it still seems like a lot to me so I'm still thinking about it. Maybe I need a few more mishaps with my current bag to help me make up my mind LOL.
