We took a day trip to Bonneville Dam yesterday... photo show here. In case you're wondering, the '(large)' in the show title was just for my own FYI... I used the full-size photos in that one.
We had a great time. We got to see the fish hatchery, it was a beautiful day, the kids were good, and we *just* made it to the visitor center in time to see the underwater fish ladder before they closed. We had a picninc and stopped for ice cream in Cascade Locks.
Today was my hubby's 36th birthday. Happy birthday my main man!!
Pretty low key day... lunch *and* dinner with the in-laws (hey, no cooking for me- BONUS). Brent, Coralie, and I sat outside at home and had frozen leftover cake (from The Little Dude's birthday) and ice cream. I didn't buy him anything this year- I asked him a couple of weeks ago what he wanted, and he told me about something he wanted but thought he'd have to find himself. Now neither one of us can remember what it was LOL. There wasn't really anything else he wanted right now, and I didn't want to buy him something he didn't need just for the sake of it. Even without a gift from me, I think he had a good day.
I was planning on doing some shopping for Coralie for school this weekend, but for some reason couldn't get to it. Funny how time just gets away from me these days...
