Cars Still Sucking, but Moving Toward the Light

The Husband picked up the beater today and drove it to work (at his own risk). It cost us about $310 just to get it running. The mechanic suggested replacing the plug wires and flushing the injectors, to stop it from running like an old jalopy, but that would have been an additional $320. So we declined. We got some help from relatives, so we'll be getting a new (used and under $9000) car later this week. The Exploder will shudder and squeak it's way to charity. At least we'll be able to stick with one car payment and own one outright. And hopefully save on gas with the next vehicle.

To-day is my birf-day and I turn 32. I got two early presents, tickets to see 'The Blue Man Group' last weekend and a new stereo for my car. Sweeeet!

It was not too bad! My mom brought me cake and ice cream. Can't get much better than that LOL.
