I Want My AC

The AC dude is coming tomorrow. I'm more than a little annoyed that it isn't working, given the fact that it's only two years old and cost quite a sum of money to have put in. I hope they can fix the AC and we don't have to wait until the end of summer for a part or something. Just in case (and for some temporary relief) I went to Target and bought a new fan (and walked around slowly so we could enjoy *their* AC LOL). It's 82 degrees in my house. At least the fan moves the air around, giving the illusion of coolness...

The kids were cranky today, probably because it's hot... Keelan somehow had some poo jump ship (not quite sure how he managed to do it) in the living room while he was standing by a chair, about 4 feet away from where the cat threw up earlier, right on the recently professionally cleaned carpet. Grrr...

Note to STUPID ASS DRIVERS: Just because the car in front of you stopped at the stop sign doesn't mean you don't have to!

I'm looking forward to the cooldown too! Ken still has to install our window A/Cs. In the meantime, we spend most of the night blowing cool air into the house via fans installed on the windowsills and then closin the windows early the next morning to help us get ahead of the game as the thermometer climbs outside. It is currently 72 in here. I hope it stays that way.

we experienced a heat wave similar to this 2 weeks ago. horrible. it's been rainy and cold, a welcome cold to me because, have i mentioned, i hate heat & humidity?
our a.c. (central, thank God) gets installed on Sunday.

Hooray for central air!! :-)
We had window AC's for one summer, until we could afford to have the central AC put in... I think if we had some shade on the back of our house we wouldn't need it so bad, but as it is our house really boils in the sun.
