A Very Sad Day

I was deeply saddened to read about the death of Steve Irwin. I have loved and watched 'The Crocodile Hunter' for years, before he became hugely popular. I know a lot of people found him supremely annoying, but he was a true animal lover. He was one of those few who thought *all* animals were beautiful, not just a few cute and fuzzies. I, for one, will terribly miss his enthusiasm and his brand of activism. He really could change minds. (Unlike a lot of 'animal activists' who give the real activists a bad rap and make asses of themselves) Rest in peace, croc-man.
