Makes Me Wonder Why...

Interesting article here about James Frey... makes me wonder why he made all that stuff up. His addictions would probably have still been compelling on their own, without all the puffing up. It's interesting that the book was first submitted as fiction, but the publisher declined to publish it as such. Now he's getting petulant because people are digging into his real background... unfortunately, now the fact that a lot of things in the book are exaggerated overshadows the real point. Too bad.
