My last day on the job. It was totally uneventful, and I felt surprisingly relieved when I dropped everything off at the office and left. So, we'll see how I feel about it in a few months when my daughter has driven me stark raving mad. That child is something to behold when she is mad...
We took 8 bags of baby clothes to the teen parenting program today. It felt so good to get rid of the stuff, and it's going to people who really need it. Bonus warm fuzzies!!
I watched 'Hidalgo' last night... normally I don't go for the 'true story' type movies, but I like Viggo Mortensen. It was actually really good, I thought. I don't remember if the reviews were that good when it came out, but that's usually the way it is for movies that I like. Generally, if the critics hate it, I love it! I haven't seen 'Doom' yet, but I saw in the paper that it was listed as one of the worst movies of 2005... but it has Karl Urban! It must have some redeeming value! Plus, I'm a gamer (well, more so before I had kids), so I enjoy that type of movie. The whole idea of someone 'critiquing' that kind of movie is kindof a joke... it's a movie based on a video game... set your standard too high and you'll always be disappointed. I, on the other hand, have no expectations for that kind of show and I always enjoy myself.
